There are fewer and fewer shops like ours around the country, due to lack of qualified technicians, and rising costs of maintaining a “brick and mortar” facility.  There are numerous people who work from their homes, garages, or storage units; some are good and some are not.

Our shop is constantly busy, often too busy, for two techs and therefore our backlog and turnaround time is typically anywhere from 2 weeks to 90 days and so we ask that you be patient when leaving a repair with us.  The more time we spend on the phone, the less time we can spend on repairs.  Many repairs end up taking extended time to finish due to the number of unexpected issues that creep up due to age of the equipment.  For example lamps that go bad from a slight bump, plastic mounts that crack because they are so brittle, moving parts that are frozen from solidified grease, and screws that are stripped from previous work done.  Dealing with these kind of things can be very frustrating, especially when customers are complaining to us about time…   And so, once again, your patience is appreciated.
